Jari Reiko Award
The Jari Reikko Award is presented each year to the Major League player chosen by his fellow curlers as the player who exemplifies the high ideals of the game: good sportsmanship, observance of the rules, good conduct on and off the ice and of course, curling ability.
Jari Reikko played in the early years of the Major League with Al Hackner, Bryan Adams, Art Lappalainen and others. A true gentleman of the game he had his life cut short in his mid 20s as a result of a car crash.
